Mandarin petitgrain is distilled from the leaves of the mandarin tree, just as petitgrain bigarade comes from bitter orange leaves. It is mainly produced in Italy and Sicily. Its scent is softer and fruitier than petitgrain bigarade, with distinct mandarin leaf notes.
More fruity and less herbaceous than petitgrain bigarade. Contains methyl-N-methylanthranilate, giving it the characteristic mandarin note. Particularly calming and well-suited to children. An interesting alternative for those who find petitgrain bigarade too green.

Mandarin petitgrain is a gentle calming essential oil suitable for the whole family. In diffusion, its soft fruity scent is particularly appreciated by children. Not photosensitizing (unlike mandarin zest). Well tolerated from 1 year in diffusion.
