Citrus aurantium (fleurs)
40-120€ / 10ml

Neroli is the essential oil distilled from the flowers of the bitter orange tree. Its name comes from Anna Maria de la Tremoille, Princess of Nerola in Italy, who popularized it in the 17th century as a perfume. It takes about 1 ton of flowers to produce 1 kg of essential oil, making it one of the most expensive essential oils. Neroli is a traditional ingredient in Eau de Cologne.
Neroli contains linalool, linalyl acetate and nerolidol in a unique balance that gives it exceptional calming and skin-regenerating properties. Its scent is floral, fresh and luminous -- distinctly different from both petitgrain bigarade (leafy) and bitter orange essence (fruity). It is the premium essential oil for anxiety, insomnia and luxury skincare.

In diffusion, just 1-2 drops suffice for a calming atmosphere. One of the safest essential oils -- well tolerated even on sensitive skin.

Les huiles essentielles suivantes se combinent particuli\u00e8rement bien avec néroli pour renforcer ou compl\u00e9ter ses effets :
It takes about 1 ton of bitter orange blossoms to obtain 1 liter of neroli. Harvesting is exclusively done by hand, flower by flower, in the early morning. That is why the price reaches 40-120 EUR per 10ml. Petitgrain bigarade, from the same tree, is a more affordable alternative.
It is one of the most powerful nervous system regulators in aromatherapy. Ideal for deep anxiety, chronic insomnia, emotional shock and post-traumatic stress. 1 drop on the wrists or solar plexus is enough -- its exquisite floral scent does the rest.
In diffusion only, it is generally tolerated during pregnancy and can help calm prenatal anxiety. Skin application is not recommended as a precaution. Consult your midwife.
