Apium graveolens
8-15€ / 10ml

Celery (Apium graveolens) is known in cooking but its essential oil (distilled from seeds) has specific properties in aromatherapy. Hildegard of Bingen prescribed it in the 12th century for liver diseases. Celery essential oil is mainly known for its depigmenting action -- it helps fade dark spots.
Celery essential oil contains phthalides (sedanolide, butylphthalide), molecules rare in the world of essential oils, which have a depigmenting action on dark spots. It is the reference essential oil for age spots, sun spots and hyperpigmentation. It is also hepatoprotective.
Les propriétés listées reposent sur des études in vitro et/ou un usage traditionnel. Sauf mention contraire, elles n'ont pas été validées par des essais cliniques humains rigoureux. Ces informations ne constituent pas un avis médical.
