Tsuga canadensis
10-20€ / 10ml

Eastern hemlock (Tsuga canadensis) is a large conifer of the forests of eastern Canada and the United States. First Nations used its tannin-rich bark for leather tanning and its needles in tonic and expectorant infusions. Hemlock is also called 'hemlock' in English, but has NO connection to poison hemlock. Hemlock essential oil is one of the gentlest of all conifers.
Hemlock is considered in aromatherapy as the essential oil for end-of-life care -- it helps 'let go' and accept. This is its most specific and most beautiful use. Physically, it is a gentle expectorant and respiratory calmer, well tolerated even by children.
Les propriétés listées reposent sur des études in vitro et/ou un usage traditionnel. Sauf mention contraire, elles n'ont pas été validées par des essais cliniques humains rigoureux. Ces informations ne constituent pas un avis médical.
