Kunzea ambigua
12-25€ / 10ml

Kunzea (Kunzea ambigua) is a shrub native to Tasmania (Australia). Aborigines used its leaves as poultices for pain and inflammation. The essential oil was popularized in the 2000s by Australian researcher John Hood, who studied its anti-inflammatory properties. Kunzea grows wild in Tasmanian heathlands and is not yet cultivated on a large scale, limiting its availability.
Kunzea has a balanced biochemical profile (alpha-pinene, 1,8-cineole, viridiflorol, globulol) that gives it anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties without the side effects of more powerful essential oils. It is the 'gentle but effective' essential oil for pain -- an alternative for people who cannot tolerate wintergreen or peppermint.
Les propriétés listées reposent sur des études in vitro et/ou un usage traditionnel. Sauf mention contraire, elles n'ont pas été validées par des essais cliniques humains rigoureux. Ces informations ne constituent pas un avis médical.
